COURSE IN SPANISH Development of Containers for the Protection of Three-Dimensional Materials The course consists of the elaboration of guards and containers for diverse documentary and three-dimensional bibliographic material following the guidelines of Preventive Conservation. Among the preventive activities, the use of guards and containers stands out, which avoid direct contact and the deterioration of the well. At present, the creation of guards and containers that guarantee the conservation of the well has been achieved through the use of acid-free materials and avoiding seams or sticking. These are fundamental activities to be carried out by the conservation and restoration professional, or the person assigned to this job, in order to achieve long-term stability. CONTENT SESSION 1 What is preventive conservation, handling, tools and packaging. SESSION 2. Creation of first-level conservation units. Paper bags and legajos. SESSION 3. Creation of guards and carpets. SESSION 4. Creation of second level conservation units for books. SESSION 5. Creation of second level conservation units for large formats. Conservation units with independent cover. SESSION 6. Creation of second level conservation units with united cover. SESSION 7. Creation of third-level conservation units for three-dimensional and full subject material. SESSION 8. Creation of special containers, paspartú.
